The Iditarod Historic Trail Alliance collects only information necessary to fulfill memberships, donations, store orders, newsletter subscriptions, and inquiries, using US-based hosting and PCI-compliant payment providers.

Iditarod National Historic Trail, Inc. dba Iditarod Historic Trail Alliance ("IHTA") respects your privacy. We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to:
- Subscribe to The Tripod newsletter and Alliance email updates;
- Purchase an annual membership or merchandise item;
- Make a tax-deductible charitable contribution; or
- Contact the Alliance with a question or event submission.
2. Payment Card Security (Hosted Square Checkout)
IHTA does not process, transmit, or store credit or debit card numbers on this website. All online donations, membership dues, and store transactions are processed directly by Square (Block, Inc.), a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, US-based payment processor.
3. US-Based Hosting & Data Services
In accordance with Alliance governance and federal award standards, website hosting, content delivery, and associated data services are operated within the United States. We do not sell, rent, or trade member, donor, or newsletter contact lists to third parties.
4. Newsletter Consent & Unsubscribe Rights
Email subscriptions require affirmative opt-in consent. Every email newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link, or you may request removal or data deletion at any time by emailing iditarodhta@gmail.com.
